Martin & Conley are working in partnership with one of the world’s leading financial performance marketing company based over in Central London. The company we are partnering operate in the Forex, Cryptocurrency and retail investment industry.

Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our talented engineering team in London.
Responsibilities will include translation of the designs created by our in-house design team to actual code that will produce the visual elements of our applications. You will work with the design team and the back-end team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
As well as helping to maintain some legacy systems, you will play an active role in our transition to a modern micro-service architecture, contributing primarily to front end applications built using the Vue Framework.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the best practices for web performance, accessibility and usability. You will be working on a range of different projects and delivering in tight deadlines.
Key accountabilities
 Develop new user-facing features.
 Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
 Ensure all code is tested and reviewed to the highest standards.
 Maintenance of technical documentation.
 Clear communication with the team, utilising project management tools such as JIRA.
Requirements
 Proficient understanding of web markup, including building mobile-first HTML5 and CSS3.
 A good understanding of CSS best practices. Experience using BEM methodology a bonus.
 Proficient understanding of ES6 Javascript.
 Experience with a framework such as Vue / React would be valuable. We primarily use Vue, but appreciate transferable skills.
 Experience with build tools such as Webpack and dependency management tools such as NPM.
 Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
 Experience with Git source control.
